Bowden Printing was established in 1935 from humble beginnings by founder Frederick Bowden, who had no printing machinery of his own, but was motivated to provide for his family and to continue the legacy for future generations. For a period of time Frederick had to use sympathetic competitor’s printing presses at night to produce his own work, but before long he was able to purchase his own equipment and his small business began to flourish.
Today, Bowdens is recognised as one of the leading print companies in South Australia. The company remains a family owned business and is run by an enthusiastic management team headed by fourth generation members of the Bowden family with an unshakeable belief in continuously improving and evolving the business to meet and exceed its clients’ needs.
With the same enthusiastic vision for the future as its founder, Bowdens is a contemporary operation that embraces the latest industry technologies and innovations, but at the same time, never losing sight of the family values that formed the foundation of the company.
